Now, part of Pacheco's role in the passing game might have been due to JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), Mecole Hardman (pelvis) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) all banged up, but clearly, the Chiefs felt more comfortable with Pacheco than Jerick McKinnon, who only had four carries for 1 yard and two catches for 17 yards on four targets. Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval probably didn't think he would get called out by Travis Kelce on national TV following the AFC Championship Game. That's what happened, however, after Kelce decided to react to Pureval's social media video that, among other things, referred to the Chiefs' home stadium as "Burrowhead."
Last week's video of Pureval, declaring that officials recently asked Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow to "take a paternity test to confirm whether or not he's his father" of Mahomes went viral. Former South Dakota State tight end and South Dakota native Dallas Goedert is Super Bowl-bound. Goedert, who played his high school ball in Britton, a northeastern South Dakota city in Marshall County, was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
After a grueling postseason, Nick Sirianni’s Philadelphia Eagles and Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs have advanced to Super Bowl 2023 at Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 12.
