WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Tulane men's tennis senior  Constantin Schmitz  and sophomore  Ewan Moore had their run in the 2018 NCAA Doubles Championship come to an end in a 6-3, 7-6(6) defeat to UCLA's 16th-ranked duo of Keegan Smith and Austin Rapp on Friday afternoon on the campus of Wake Forest University. Tulane appeared to successfully push the reset button in the second set, despite neither side holding their serve in the first three games or four of the first five, but Schmitz and Moore remained in front, 3-2, through those circumstances.
