McRae Earns Atlantic 10 Postgraduate Scholarship
The success away from the pool continued on Thursday when Lauren McRae was named a 2018 Atlantic 10 Postgraduate Scholarship winner. Since her sophomore year, McRae, a chemistry major, has been working on a research project looking at proteins connection with Alzheimer's Disease.

Beaty Brings Home Second Straight CoSIDA Academic All-District Award
strong -- Cal State East Bay senior Claire Beaty has been selected to the 2018 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District At-Large Team, which recognizes student-athletes for their combined performance in the classroom and on the court. The Novato, Calif. native closed out her collegiate career with a national runner-up performance in the 200 Breaststroke, the highest individual finish by a Pioneer swimmer in school history.
