How will first pass from Shea Patterson compare to these Michigan quarterback debuts?
It's the season opener, against Notre Dame, so there will be plenty of buzz when Michigan's offense first takes the field Sep. 1, regardless of who the quarterback is. Peters played well enough in a blowout win over Rutgers on Oct. 28 to take the starting job from O'Korn, who'd replaced the injured Speight.

All eyes on massive freshman Kiyaunta Goodwin at small Louisville school
Goodwin, a 6-foot-7 315-pounder, received national media attention over the summer because of his size and talent and is expected to be a starter for the Holy Cross High School football team this season. He told the Courier Journal in June that he chose Holy Cross over Trinity and DeSales because of its robotics classes.

High school football is back, and we already have our first big loss
The Vikings captured the Division I state title in 2017 but entered Friday missing an undefined number of players. The team’s coach, Kaeo Drummondo, told ScoringLive that his team was missing contributors due to both academic and injury issues, with a total of just 29 players making the roster for the first kickoff of the season.

Which quarterback would you rather have: Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers?
When it comes to quarterbacks in the NFL, two legendary players have separated themselves from the pack: Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is considered the most talented quarterback, with his arsenal of accurate throws and efficiency the league hasn't seen.

Ready to roll, line pushes skilled Euclid: 2018 football preview and camp visit
Euclid brings back Michigan State commit Brandon Wright and standout receiver Dre'Von Lindsay, but it is the Panthers' seasoned and sizable offensive line that paves the way for this playoff-tested program. Add in Dre’Von Lindsay as one of the area’s top playmakers at receiver, putting up 754 yards and 12 TDs on just 30 receptions, and Euclid is oozing with talent following a third straight OHSAA Division I playoff appearance.

SDS Crystal Ball: Predicting every game for Alabama football in 2018
Arkansas State’s only chance in this one is if it pays Gus Malzahn $5 million for a one-day contract to come back to ASU, along with at least 5 Auburn players on each side of the ball. Last year’s 45-7 drubbing is obviously the old coaching staff, but unless Tyson Helton is this mad scientist that we’ve all been sleeping on, I find it hard to believe that Tennessee has a quarterback who can move the ball against the Tide, much less win.

Cardinal Spotlight: Kelsey Baden
I also spend a part of my day working on budgets, schedule for upcoming week, if there is a game figuring out which uniform to wear, things like that. We have to get our workouts in because on gameday you have to be able to stand up in the heat and cheer for a full four-hour game with a smile on your face, and act like you're not hurt even though you might get dropped or something like that.
