Karli Royer got the scoring play started as she carried the ball down the flank and sent a curling pass into the box where it was deflected to Gorman, who took a shot on goal only to see it pushed aside by the UD keeper, Kaelyn Johns. From there, senior Jill Vetere stepped up to the spot and buried her shot into the back of the net to push UC three goals ahead and end the scoring on the night for both sides.

52 Seniors Honored at Awards Banquet
He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and volunteered for New Life Church, Hendrix College Miller Center and the Dixieland Community Garden Project in Rogers. Simmons has volunteered for the City in the Dark Halloween Festival with One Church of Conway, went on a mission trip to Mozambique and helped in the relief efforts after the tornado in Vilonia.

Men's Soccer: Comeback by Lords falls short at Otterbein
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Otterbein University held off a furious comeback attempt by the Kenyon College men's soccer team on Sunday night and prevailed 3-2 in a rainy second round NCAA Division III Tournament match at Memorial Stadium. Head Coach Chris Brown added afterward, "Bad defending on a couple of set pieces in the first half put us in a tough spot."

GRANVILLE, Ohio – Offensive chances were few for the Kenyon College field hockey team on Saturday morning as the Denison University Big Red notched a slim 1-0 win in North Coast Athletic Conference action at Piper Field. The Ladies (15-3, 12-2 NCAC) were able to get just two on-goal looks in the contest as Denison's solid defense kept Kenyon's offense in check for the majority of the match.

Field Hockey: Hart selected as Regional Player of the Year
The fourth-year from Harare, Zimbabwe was an instrumental part of the Ladies' success this season which brought a 15-4 record and berth into the four-team North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. Hart started every game for Kenyon, notched a half-dozen goals, tallied 13 points which ranked third on the team and helped the Ladies' defense post seven shutouts.

The Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
