Highlanders Look to Train the Dragons on Saturday
NJIT is coming off a 116-63 win over Division III Kean University on Wednesday afternoon, while Drexel dropped a double-overtime heartbreaker, 90-88, to Drake in the third place game of the Paradise Jam on Sunday. The Dragons are off to a 2-3 start in 2017-18 including a 1-2 stint at the Paradise Jam in which head coach Zach Spiker's squad picked up an opening round win over Houston before falling to Mercer and Drake.

Jarvis Doles Named CAA Rookie of the Week
RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel men's basketball freshman Jarvis Doles was named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week, the conference announce Monday afternoon. He followed that performance up with 10 points and a career-high eight rebounds on Sunday against Drake to close out the Dragons' weekend in Lynchburg, Va. Doles opened the week by helping the Dragons to a 95-81 win Monday over Arcadia at the DAC before an 84-80 upset over Houston in the first round of the Paradise Jam on Friday.

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel men's basketball head coach Zach Spiker announced Wednesday that Alihan Demir signed a national letter of intent to play for the Dragons. Perry, who is listed at 6-foot-10 and 220 pounds, averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game at The Phelps School, following his graduation from Cherry Hill East.
