Bulldogs Add Transfer Kaleb Ledoux
RUSTON -- The Louisiana Tech men's basketball team added a high-scoring in-state product on Thursday as they announced the signing of guard Kalob Ledoux who will be transferring from McNeese State to play for the Bulldogs. Ledoux, a native of Port Barre, Louisiana, is a 6-3, 215-pound combo guard that has spent the past two seasons in Lake Charles while leading the Cowboys in scoring each year and recently earning Third Team All-Southland Conference honors.

Hawks primer: Detailing Atlanta's checkered history with the NBA draft lottery
The Shaq-Penny union was destined to capture multiple titles, but that's not how things worked out: The Magic were swept by the Rockets in the 1995 NBA Finals; and the following summer, O'Neal signed with the Lakers as a free agent—something that likely wouldn't have happened under today's Collective Bargaining Agreement structure. SKINNY: Atlanta's former management team unwisely tipped their hand on Williams before Draft Night; and yet, just minutes before the selection, a number of Hawks fans thought the club was bluffing on Williams—a solid defender and rebounder, but without the necessary upside of a top-five pick.

Pistons president/GM possibilities: David Griffin most accomplished
After firing Stan Van Gundy on Monday, the Pistons said they will have a more traditional front-office structure by splitting up the roles of team president and head coach. But he also traded Tobias Harris on draft day after selecting him 19th that year and his other top 10 picks (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cody Zeller, Noah Vonleh and Frank Kaminsky) haven’t had a large enough impact.

Pistons passing on Donovan Mitchell bigger draft blunder than Darko Milicic pick
2 pick that year instead of Milicic — Anthony went third to the Denver Nuggets — you could argue the Rasheed Wallace trade doesn't happen, and possibly neither does the title over the Los Angeles Lakers. All of which leaves Gores three choices: start over, fire the general manager but keep the coach or give Van Gundy the keys to everything for another round.

LeBron James has a favorite for the MVP award _ himself
3 in the Eastern Conference, despite having 21 different players on the roster, 24 different starting lineups and counting, a slew of injuries, even with head coach Tyronn Lue falling ill and missing games. A quick call to the Capital Grille in Indianapolis — where the manager initially didn't believe that the Miami Heat, travel party of 51, were on the way — set up dinner for everyone, and hotel rooms were secured while everyone dined.

At the Pistons’ New Home, Empty Seats and Hockey Statues
Stan Van Gundy, the Pistons’ coach, said that Little Caesars and the surrounding neighborhood were too full of distractingly fun stuff to do, so that fans would be lured into wandering outside and would not return to their seats to watch the game. The arena is full of statues of hockey players like Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay, while famous Pistons like Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars have to settle mostly for appearing in photographs suspended from the ceiling.
