Basketball Daily Dose: Dose: All Hail the King
LeBron James refused to allow the Cavaliers season to end on Friday night, popping off for 46 points on 17-of-33 shooting (7-of-11 from the stripe) to go with 11 boards, nine dimes, five trey-bombs, three steals, one block and three turnovers in Cleveland’s 109-99 Game 6 win over Boston. It was a classic King James performance with the Cavs’ season on the line, replete with picturesque passes, chase-down swats and some clutch buckets down the stretch highlighted by one of the mightiest mean-mugs in postseason history.

On Basketball: Injuries taketh away, and injuries giveth
Last year, Kawhi Leonard came down on Zaza Pachulia's foot in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, San Antonio's big lead was gone in an instant and the Warriors steamrolled the rest of the way to another title. The reigning NBA champions are on the brink of elimination, down 3-2 in the West finals in large part because Iguodala's knee has prevented him from playing in the last two games — both of them close losses to the Houston Rockets, outcomes that may have been different if he was on the floor.

Rockets use strong defense to move a win from NBA Finals
The Rockets have kept the Warriors from moving the ball the way they're accustomed to, crowding them and forcing them into playing more isolation- style. They've also been relentless at throwing bodies at their shooters, and have often used bigger players to harass Stephen Curry to try and wear him down.

Basketball Daily Dose: Dose: Rockets Take 3-2 Lead
The Warriors rolled with Kevon Looney in the starting five again, but as previously mentioned, he and the rest of Golden State’s bigs were exposed in the pick-and-roll and Houston basically attacked whichever non-All-Star was in the game. None of Golden State’s role players played particularly well, as David West did pretty much nothing in 12 minutes and Quinn Cook missed three good looks from deep and finished scoreless.
